Information used by the current website
The registration form requests your name, username, email address, optional phone number, training interest and password. Account details and approval status are stored to support account access. The application stores a password hash rather than the password entered in the form.
The website uses a session cookie to maintain account sign-in. It also records a last sign-in time where that database field is available. Blog submissions and their publication status are stored; approved articles may display the author's name or username.
Enquiry messages
The contact page prepares a message in your browser. It does not submit or store that message on the Hysec website. When you choose WhatsApp or email, the draft opens in that service for you to review and send.
External services
Public pages load fonts, icons, scripts or images from Google Fonts, Cloudflare cdnjs, jsDelivr, unpkg and Unsplash. Your browser contacts those providers when it loads their files, which can disclose connection information such as your IP address.
WhatsApp and social sharing links open external services when selected. Their privacy practices apply to information you provide there. Hysec's contact email and phone links open the relevant application on your device.
